At Vectrona, success is achieved when we work with our teammates and clients to co-create a high-performance future that achieves a grand vision.

“Vectrona” is a combination of the English word “vector” and the Spanish suffix “-ona.” The word “vector” symbolizes our goal to innovatively align the direction of our efforts to create meaningful results of great magnitude; our “-ona.” The name draws us from our roots and inspires us forward to innovate and create a greater vision for the future.

Vec·tor (English)

1. A quantity possessing both magnitude and direction, represented by an arrow the direction of which indicates the direction of the quantity and the length of which is proportional to the magnitude.
2. The direction or course followed by an airplane, missile, or other flying object.
1. To guide in flight by issuing appropriate headings.

– ona (Spanish)

Added to the end of a word, it is used to denote big, large, strong or grand.

Vectrona captures both our professional roots in military service and systems engineering, and our Spanish heritage as we carry on the hard-working traditions of American immigrants.
